The Rajasthan Heritage Tours is a 14 night 15 days tour package that includes travelling through the most famous tourist routes of India. This is an additional Golden Triangle tour that covers Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur in addition to Rajasthan. Tour Itinerary: Rajasthan Heritage Tours
Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Welcome to our Best Rajasthan Heritage Tours! A representative of Indiatripo will welcome you at IGI airport in Delhi, and will transfer you to the hotel. After reaching the hotel, guests will receive a traditional welcome. After getting freshened up in your hotel room, finish your lunch, and take a rest in your room. In the first evening of your Golden Triangle Tour, you will explore the Light and Sound Show programme at Akshardham Temple. Stay overnight at the hotel after enjoying dinner.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
On the second day, after finishing your breakfast, you will explore Delhi for a full day with a tour guide (if you want). You will start your tour by visiting old Delhi, where you will visit the Red Fort (majestic red stone architecture), the most famous markets of old Delhi, and the historical places that include Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, and others. Also, you will enjoy a rickshaw ride.
In the afternoon, enjoy your lunch, and visit the most popular attractions of New Delhi, like India Gate, Humayun's Tomb, the Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, and the National Art Gallery. If time permits, you can also visit wonderful shopping malls, markets, night pubs, and movie clubs where tourists can enjoy their time during their trip to the city. After enjoying your delicious dinner, spend your overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Agra (230 km approx time 3 hours 30 mins)
Today, on the third day of your Rajasthan Heritage Tour Packages! After breakfast in the morning, check out of the hotel, and you will leave for Agra. You will visit Emperor Akbar's tomb at Sikandra on the way to Agra. On arrival in Agra, check-in at the pre-booked hotel and freshen up yourself. In the evening, you will visit the Taj Mahal to enjoy the sunset. Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Afterward, you will get to enjoy a special Mughlai dinner at a famous restaurant in Agra. overnight stay.
Day 04: Agra Sightseeing – Fatehpur Sikiri – Jaipur (240 kms/4hrs)
After breakfast in the morning, you will visit other famous attractions of Agra city, like the Agra Fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will find many palaces, halls, and beautiful gardens here. Also, visit Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb and experience the great artistic architecture of the Mughals. After lunch, we moved to Jaipur, also known as the pink city of India. You will visit Fatehpur Sikri (the City of Victory) on the way to Jaipur. Fatehpur Sikri was the first planned city of the Mughals which was marked by a splendid administration.
After reaching Jaipur, check-in at the pre-booked hotel and relax. In the evening, you will go to famous markets and malls of Jaipur for shopping, where you will find a wide variety of handicraft products. Also, enjoy dinner at one of the most famous restaurants in Jaipur, where you can find some delicious Rajputana flavours. After dinner, overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur Sightseeing
After a heavy breakfast in the morning, you will explore the most famous attractions of Jaipur city, like Jaigarh Fort (Hill of the Eagles), Jal Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, the Albert Hall Museum, and others.
In the evening, you can visit famous markets of the city like Babu Market for shopping iconic souvenirs of the land. If you are at it, then we recommend that you try the lassi of Jaipur, which bursts with flavour in your mouth. Afterward, you can enjoy dinner at a theme restaurant called ‘Choki Dhani.' After dinner, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 06: Jaipur – Pushkar (160 kms/ 3 hrs)
Today, on the six day of your Rajasthan Heritage Tours! After breakfast in the morning, you will leave for Amber Fort, where you can enjoy an elephant ride. After that, you will be driven to Pushkar and then transferred to your pre-booked hotel, where you can relax. Later, explore one of India's most famous lakes, Pushkar Lake: the 52 baths are surrounded by ghats (a series of steps up to the lake), where pilgrims come in huge numbers to take a spiritual dip, visit Brahma Ji Temple, the only temple of Lord Brahma in the world; Pushkar is a pilgrimage town with over 500 temples and ghats, but it is also known for its annual camel festival, which takes place in October or November. Tour the temples before spending the night at the hotel.
Day 07: Pushkar - Udaipur (298 kms/ 5 hrs)
After breakfast in the morning, drive to Udaipur, the City of Lakes, is a magnificent place surrounded by blue water lakes. Upon arriving in Udaipur, you will be transferred to your hotel. Stay the night in Udaipur.
Day 08: Udaipur City Tour
Following breakfast at the hotel, begin your sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Udaipur, the city of lakes, situated amidst the Aravalli Hills, is one of the most romantic cities in Rajasthan. Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, where you can see the floating marble palace and the White City in the distance. You can also visit City palace, Jag Mandir, Jag Niwas and Saheliyon Ki Bari before watching the sunset from Sajjan Garh Monsoon Palace.
Day 09: Udaipur – Kumbhalgarh – Ranakpur – Jodhpur (250kms/4hrs)
Today, on the 8th day of your Rajasthan Heritage Tours! After breakfast in the morning, leave for Udaipur. See the Ranakpur Jain Temple on the route, which was established in the 12th century and is famous for the spectacular carvings on the 1444 non-replicable marble pillars, each of which is meant to represent a distinctive theme. Afterwards, travel to Kumbhalgarh to see the enormous Kumbhalgarh Fort, the second-most significant fort of Rajasthan's Mewar kings, which has made its mark in history as the second-biggest wall after China's Great Wall. Later, proceed to Jodhour, and upon arrival, check-in at the pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Jodhpur City Tour
After a leisurely breakfast, proceed for Jodhpur city sightseeing. Begin with a morning village safari to visit rural residences and look for local animals such as blackbucks. Jodhpur, the formidable Rathore clan's stronghold, was built in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Explore the Mehrangarh Fort, which is perched on a low sandstone ridge. Visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal within the fort. See the Jaswant Thada, an ornate marble cenotaph created in honour of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II in 1899, as well as the Umaid Bhavan Gardens. Stay the night in Jodhpur.
Day 11: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer ( 264 kms/5hrs)
After breakfast, depart for Jaisalmer. Upon arriving at Jaisalmer, check-in at the pre-booked hotel and unwind at the hotel. A mediaeval village situated like a sandcastle in the midpoint of the Thar desert. Jaisalmer is also called the Golden City. Later, in the evening, go on a camel safari and watch the spectacular sunset in Rajasthan's desert. Day 12: Jaisalmer Sightseeing Tour
Today, on the 11th day of your Rajasthan Heritage Tours! After breakfast, depart for a full-day guided tour of Jaisalmer city. Start your morning with a visit to the monument of the rulers of the city, Bada Bagh, and near the Gadisar Lake. Then spend your afternoon visiting Jaisalmer Fort, a living fort with yellow stone architecture and golden desert sands amidst palaces, temples, and little shops that make it seem straight out of a fairy tale.
Day 13: Jaisalmer – Bikaner (330 kms/6hrs)
After breakfast in the morning, depart for Bikaner. On arrival, check into the pre-booked hotel and relax. Later, explore the Lalgarh Palace, a castle and heritage resort established by King Ganga Singh of Bikaner between 1902 and 1926, the Karni Mata Mandir, and a camel-breeding farm. If time permits, visit the local market. Stay overnight at the pre-booked hotel.
Day 14: Bikaner - Mandawa (190 kms/3hrs)
After breakfast, leave for a half-day tour of Bikener. Visit Junagarh Fort, constructed by Raja Rai Singh, between 1588 -1593 AD, Bhandasar Jain Temple. Then continue driving to Mandawa. On arrival at your next destination, Mandawa, check into your pre-booked hotel. After lunch, visit Mandawa, established in 1755 by Thakur Naval Singh and still home to his descendants, which has beautiful murals, havelis, and mansions. Mandawa Palace, one of Rajasthan's loveliest forts, is currently a hotel and home to a museum with a collection of armoury, historical costumes and an 1820 canon ancient coins, a numismatic collection, and many other interesting items. Day 15: Mandawa – Delhi Departure (256 kms/5hrs)
This day marks the end of your two week on Rajasthan Heritage Tours. After breakfast in the morning, drive back to Delhi, you will be transferred to the airport to catch a flight back home with wonderful memories.
